Understanding SBP Issues

Issues Opening SBP Files

SketchBook Removed

You encounter an error message such as "- Can't Open SBP Files" when trying to open your SBP. When this happens, it is commonly due to SketchBook missing in - . Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.

Tip: When another SBP application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.

Wrong Version of SketchBook is Installed

Sometimes your installed version of SketchBook won't support your Sketchbook Express iCloud Image file. You will need to download a newer version of SketchBook if you don't have the right version. Your Sketchbook Express iCloud Image file was probably created by a newer release of SketchBook than what's currently installed your computer.

Tip: If you right-click on your SBP file, then select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), you can obtain hints about what version you need.
