SSZ Troubleshooting
Frequent SSZ Opening Issues
Spider Player Pro Isn't There
When trying to open your SSZ file, you get the error "Can't Open SSZ File Type". If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have Spider Player Pro for %%os%% installed on your computer. You won't be able to double-click to open your SSZ because your OS doesn't know what to do with it.
Tip: Another SSZ-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.
Outdated Spider Player Pro
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Spider Player Pro installed that's incompatible with your Spider Player Skin File type. Installing the latest version of Spider Player Pro from Open Source is recommended. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
Tip: If you right-click on your SSZ file, then select "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), you can obtain hints about what version you need.
Conclusion: The majority of SSZ file opening issues are due to not having the correct Spider Player Pro version installed.
