Sources of BXU Problems
Troubles Opening BXU Files
PictureGear Studio Not Present
When trying to open your BXU file, you get the error "Can't Open BXU File Type". Usually, this is because you do not have PictureGear Studio for %%os%% installed. This will prevent you from double-clicking to open the BXU file because the OS doesn’t know how to handle it.
Tip: If you know of another program that can open your BXU file, you can try opening it by selecting the application from the programs listed.
Wrong Version of PictureGear Studio is Installed
In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a PictureGear Studio File file that is unsupported by your installed application version. If you do not have the proper version PictureGear Studio (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. The primary cause of this problem is that your PictureGear Studio File file was created by a different (newer) version of PictureGear Studio than what's installed.
Tip: Right-clicking on your BXU, then clicking "Properties" (Windows) or "Get Info" (Mac), can provide clues about your file version.
Summary: Not having the right PictureGear Studio version on your computer can cause problems opening BXU files.
