Common SMS Opening Problems

Missing Kega Fusion

When you double-click your SMS file, you may see a dialog box from your operating system stating that it "Cannot Open This File Type". If so, it typically means that you don't have Kega Fusion installed for - . Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.


Tip: When another SMS application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.


Wrong Version of Kega Fusion is Installed

Your Sega Master System ROM file is incompatible with Kega Fusion because you might have the wrong version installed. You will need to download a newer version of Kega Fusion if you don't have the right version. Most of the time your Sega Master System ROM file was created by a newer Kega Fusion than what you have installed.
