Apple Passbook is Not Installed
If you attempt to load your PKPASS file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open PKPASS Files". If so, it typically means that you don't have Apple Passbook installed for - . The typical path of opening your PKPASS with a double-click won't work because - cannot make the program connection.
Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your PKPASS, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").
Apple Passbook Requires Update
In some cases, you might have a newer (or older) version of a Passbook Pass File file that is unsupported by your installed application version. If you do not have the proper version Apple Passbook (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This issue mainly occurs when your Passbook Pass File file was created by a newer version of Apple Passbook than you have on your PC.
