Software Overview
Valve Hammer Editor is a program that is widely used to create maps for games. It is commonly known as Hammer and previously named Worldcraft. Quake and Quake II are supported by older versions of WorldCraft. Versions older than 4 supported only Goldsrc, and Source's predecessor. Both Source and GoldSrc are supported by the current version that can only be accessed through downloading the Source SDK.
