What is Boldenone
Boldenone is an anabolic derivative of testosterone. It is a molecule of testosterone with double bonds on carbon atoms 1 and 2, which reduces the androgenic effect (male properties) and the estrogenic effect (female properties). At most, an added unalkylated ester makes the molecule stable enough in the body, i.e. contributes to the good and long half-life of boldenone.
Just so you know how slow the metabolism of boldenone is, it reaches its peak in the body only 3 or 4 days after its use, and the effects can last 21 days.
It was originally used clinically to treat osteoporosis or mild cases of muscle atrophy. Boldenone smells (converts excess testosterone to estrogen) about 50% of the amount derived from testosterone. Despite this characteristic, boldenone is much less anabolic than testosterone and is unlikely to give satisfactory results on its own.
The main benefits of boldenone
Boldenone is not among the most potent steroids ever created. In fact, it may be a far cry from anabolic steroids like trenbolone or Dianabol. It has relatively low anabolic activity compared to other anabolic steroids or even testosterone.
Boldenone has very similar effects to those of testosterone: it increases protein synthesis by significantly increasing nitrogen stores in muscle (making the environment more anabolic), suppresses glucocorticoid hormones that destroy muscle mass (e.g. cortisol), and significantly increases IGF-1 levels in the body.
Boldenone also has the ability to increase the number of red blood cells in the body. Excessive increases in red blood cells are not helpful, but this only occurs with high doses of boldenone and with very prolonged use. For most users, a slight increase in these cells is helpful in improving results as red blood cells are responsible for increasing oxygen levels in body tissues.
It is capable of increasing your appetite and making you eat better. Despite this remarkable effect, some people do NOT experience a change in their appetite, leading us to believe this may be a very individual effect.
Boldenone is used to build mass (increase muscle mass) and should be used in conjunction with other more anabolic steroids, such as Deca-Durabolin. It provides more solid gains and much less water retention (especially since there is less taste). The gains achieved with Boldenone can’t be seen overnight, especially since we’re talking about a steroid with a long concentration of ether, which means it needs to be used for a longer period of time to get satisfactory results.
Another important benefit of boldenone is increased strength, which can be useful for both weight gain (muscle building) and weight loss (muscle defining) as you will have a lower level of strength due to calorie restriction. Because it promotes good strength gain, it can be used by athletes of various forms.
When cutting, it is only used as a way to prevent muscle loss, as this can be done with diet com menos calorias. However, the increased appetite can lead to the steroid being perceived as “unpleasant” in some people during this period. During this time it is also used to reduce water retention. At this stage it is usually combined with other steroids such as Primobolan o Masteron, in addition to some testosterone.
Because it has many important anabolic effects for women and has a low androgenic effect (male characteristics), boldenone is also used by women. I think for most of them it is not the best option because anabolic steroids like oxandrolone have a better effect on this target group. However, if your goal is maximum muscle growth, boldenone can be a viable option when used in very moderate doses, especially for women just starting out.
How long does the action of boldenone last?
Due to its heavy and long ether chain, boldenone does not affect the body immediately (slowly) and remains in the bloodstream for about 3-4 weeks. Another negative aspect of boldenone is that one third of the drug does not work – this is “ballast”.
The obvious disadvantages of boldenone undecylenate have led pharmaceutical companies to synthesize boldenone acetate and boldenone propanoate, which have a longer duration of action and a rapid onset of action. At the same time, boldenone acetate and boldenone propionate are not without their drawbacks, as many athletes point out: they are very painful and are not commonly used in bodybuilding, which is not the case in other sports where endurance is a dominant factor (athletics, skiing, cycling, etc.).
Effects of boldenone on endurance
Boldenone affects red blood cell (RBC) count – their number is increased by stimulating one of the kidney hormones, erythropoietin, whose increase is due to the increase in 5b-metabolites.
Erythrocyte counting has been used successfully by athletes in a variety of sports, especially in aerobics where endurance is crucial. Bodybuilders also benefit from boldenone, as as muscle mass increases, the capillary network in the muscles and, of course, the venous system increases, which is especially important for bodybuilders participating in competitions.
The half-life of equipoise is about 14 days, and it takes about 6 weeks for it to be completely eliminated from the body. However, like most major steroids, Boldenone Undesilenate can be found in the body after up to two years. This is another similarity between equipoise and deca – traces of EQ can be found in urine months and even a year and a half after the last injection! Therefore, if you can be tested for doping, Equipoise may not be the best choice for you.
Equipoise has a strong anabolic effect and promotes high quality muscle growth due to its use with minimal water retention. An added benefit of Equipoise is that it stimulates red blood cell production, which enhances the pumping effect during exercise. Equipoise is mildly aromatic, making it an effective product in the “dehydration phase”. During this period, the combination of Equipoise with injectable Winstrol worked well.
