Common ORG Opening Problems
IBM Lotus Organizer Isn't There
If you attempt to load your ORG file, you experience a message such as "Can't Open ORG Files". If so, it typically means that you don't have IBM Lotus Organizer installed for %%os%%. The typical path of opening your ORG with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.
Tip: When another ORG application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
IBM Lotus Organizer is Out-of-Date
Your Lotus Organizer File file is incompatible with IBM Lotus Organizer because you might have the wrong version installed. If you do not have the proper version IBM Lotus Organizer (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This issue mainly occurs when your Lotus Organizer File file was created by a newer version of IBM Lotus Organizer than you have on your PC.
Tip: Investigate your ORG file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
Primarily, problems experienced when opening ORG files are due to having the incorrect version of IBM Lotus Organizer installed on your computer.
