Troubleshoot F4A Files
Common F4A Opening Problems
Adobe Flash Player Isn't There
Double-clicking your F4A file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open F4A File". If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have Adobe Flash Player for %%os%% installed on your computer. Your operating system cannot associate your F4A with Adobe Flash Player, so double-clicking the file won't work.
Tip: When you have another program installed that you know will open your F4A, you can select it from the other programs listed (see "Show Apps").
Outdated Adobe Flash Player
Your Adobe Flash Protected Audio File file is incompatible with Adobe Flash Player because you might have the wrong version installed. Download the latest Adobe Flash Player version from the Adobe Systems Incorporated website to ensure you have the correct one installed. This problem is predominately due to having a Adobe Flash Protected Audio File file version that was created by a newer version of Adobe Flash Player than what you have installed on your PC.
Tip: Find clues on the correct software version by right-clicking your F4A file and clicking "Properties".
Summary: Not having the right Adobe Flash Player version on your computer can cause problems opening F4A files.
