Sources of TTL Problems
Issues Opening TTL Files
AGiliTy Removed
When trying to open your TTL file, you get the error "Can't Open TTL File Type". If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have AGiliTy for %%os%% installed on your computer. Your operating system cannot associate your TTL with AGiliTy, so double-clicking the file won't work.
Tip: When another TTL application is installed, you can choose to open it by selecting "Show Apps" and using that program.
AGiliTy Requires Update
Your AGT Game Title File file is incompatible with AGiliTy because you might have the wrong version installed. If you do not have the proper version AGiliTy (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. Your AGT Game Title File file was probably created by a newer release of AGiliTy than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: You can sometimes get hints about the right program version by right-clicking on the TTL file, selecting "Properties", and looking at the version information.
Regardless, most of the TTL file opening problems relate to not having the right version of AGiliTy installed.
Additional TTL Opening Issues
Although you might already have AGiliTy or another TTL-associated software installed on your computer, you can still encounter problems opening AGT Game Title File files. If you're still experiencing problems opening TTL files, there could be other computer problems. Problems unrelated to software:
- TTL file type Registry entries are wrong
- Corruption of the TTL file description inside the Registry
- Corrupt install of AGiliTy or other TTL-related program
- File corruption affecting your TTL file
- Your TTL has adversely impacted by malware
- Hardware related to TTLs has device driver corruption
- Too many applications are open on your PC to load your AGT Game Title File file successfully
