Typical WCP Opening Challenges

Corel WinDVD Isn't There

You attempt to load your WCP file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The WCP File Extension". If this is the case, it's usually due to the fact that you do not have Corel WinDVD for %%os%% installed on your computer. The typical path of opening your WCP with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.

Tip: Another WCP-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.

Corel WinDVD Requires Update

In other instances, your WinDVD Creator Project File file version may not be supported by your version of Corel WinDVD. You will need to download a newer version of Corel WinDVD if you don't have the right version. This issue mainly occurs when your WinDVD Creator Project File file was created by a newer version of Corel WinDVD than you have on your PC.
